My husband is US citizen and he commited bigamy in India.?

He got marred in Jan 2011 and our divorce got final in April 2011. I filed Bigamy case against him in the court India. The thing is he used me to get the US citizenship and then he left me and file the divorce. I never wanted divorce because its a big shame for me and my family according to Indian culture. But the state I live in US has a law that if one spouse want divorce then other has to sign. So I had no choice to sign the divorce paper. Now he is telling the police and court that she has no right to file the case because she had also sign the divorce paper and it was mutual, that he is innocent he did not wait for the decree of divorce. I was so helpless because the state law which does not care for the emotions and family's pain and all that emotional torture so at that time I could not do any thing but I guess God was watching over me and he gave me chance to fight. So somebody please tell me that can the Indian court will set him free because he was ignorant and innocent not to know that he needs a divorce decree before getting marred to second women, and also please guide me that can I file case in US.
