If you found out your teen experimented with ecstacy, what would you do?

It would not really depend on the child's age if they are a teen they should know better than to mess with illegal drugs. But what you should really think about is if they are likely to do it again or try something else. If you think your teen might do it again you should consider getting the cops involved getting a drug test done to see if that is all they tried and talk to the police about your options. they may suggest time in a Juvenal detention center and seeing a judge. while having to go to court is a hassle you teen would be put on probation and drug tested every so often and you would have better chances of making sure they never experiment with any other drugs. yes its a bit harsh but I know that the system can work from my own experience with it. WARNING: if you do go this route make sure your teen doesn't start hanging around other people that are in the system because it will have the opposite effect.
