How tight are condoms supposed to be?

I just wasted 32 dollars on two packs of condoms 26 dollars on trojan ecstacy and 6 dollars on 3 large trojan magnums. I thought the trojan ecstacy would be a good fit but it was so tight I couldnt get it past my tip and I thought the trojan magnum would fit for sure but I could barely slide my whole penis completely in and just a little past the tip. The trojan magnum was longer than my penis but it was still too tight.
